Each driver must present a valid driving licence and proof of identity and age. You will also need an accepted form of payment, although no credit card is required. When collecting a car booked in advance, please have your reservation code available.

Drivers must be between 23 and 75 years old. Drivers over the age of 75 may also rent a car from Locar for an additional charge of €10 per day.

No. You can book a rental car with Locar without a credit card, debit card or security deposit.

Yes. Unlimited mileage is included in the rental price, allowing you to explore Corfu without additional kilometre charges.

The insurance includes third-party liability, property damage cover and Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with zero excess for covered damage.

The standard insurance included in the price, does NOT cover any damage to the outside mirrors, seats (and general damage inside the car), wheels, glass, the underside of the car, and loss or damage of the keys. These would have to be paid directly by the client. However it is possible to have our Premium Insurance (Fully Comprehensive) for a small extra cost, in which case the above exemptions would not apply.

Your rental car will be provided with a specific level of petrol or diesel, depending on the vehicle. The car must be returned with the same amount of fuel. All fuel costs during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter.

You can drive your Locar rental car throughout the island of Corfu. Driving off-road, on unsafe dirt tracks or in areas where the car may be damaged is not permitted. Taking the rental car outside Corfu or to mainland Greece requires prior approval from Locar.

Our main car rental pick-up location is Corfu Airport. Car collection is also available at Corfu Port, Corfu Town and Gouvia Marina, providing convenient options based on your arrival point.

Yes. You can cancel your reservation without a cancellation fee when you notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled arrival.

The insurance does not cover damage caused in any of the following circumstances:

• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Driving off-road
• Allowing an unauthorised or underage driver to use the vehicle
• Driving in violation of traffic regulations
• Carrying more passengers than the maximum number permitted for the vehicle

No. Smoking is not permitted inside any Locar rental vehicle.

Yes. Pets are allowed provided they are transported in a suitable pet carrier and the vehicle is returned clean and undamaged.
