Terms & Conditions Reservations are based on vehicle category and not exact model. While LOCAR will make every effort to offer the exact model booked, we reserve the right, in case of no availability, to offer another model from the same category.
On delivery of your car, you will be asked to confirm you are receiving the car in good condition with no obvious defects, and you are obliged to return it in the same condition, with all its equipment, tools and accessories as delivered.

The renter is obliged to return the car on the date and time agreed in the contract. The minimum rental period is one (1) day. In the event that there is a delay in the return of the car you may be charged for an extra day.
Only the person or persons agreed to in the rental contract, are allowed to drive the vehicle. The driver’s age cannot be less than 23 or over 75. If you are more than 75, it is possible to rent a car from Locar by paying an extra fee, 10€/day. Driver’s license held a minimum of 2 years is required.
The driver must present a valid driving license and valid ID card or Passport upon delivery of the vehicle.
If you are from an EU Member State, Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein or Switzerland, or from any country that has signed the Vienna Convention you only need a National Driving Licence. An International Driving Licence (IDL) is required together with your National Permit, for all other countries, ie USA. Canada, Australia, China etc. We recommend you carry an IDL together with your national licence, just in case.
The client is responsible for all paring fines, traffic violation fines and administrative costs incurred during the rental period, due to the infringement of Greek Traffic Law.
The car may be used only for the transportation of its passengers around the island. It is not to be used for paid transportation of third parties, racing or towing another vehicle. The car is only to be used on paved roads or public highways. The driver is strictly forbidden to use the car if intoxicated or under the influence of medication or narcotics. This would immediately cancel the insurance and the driver would be liable for all damages.
The car will be delivered in good condition and with all engine maintenance taken care of. The renter is obliged to take care of the daily checks required, like tire pressure and engine faults usually shown by the system like oil pressure, charging and cooling water levels. In the event that any problem should arise, the company must be notified immediately and it will be taken care of as soon as possible. Repairs or replacement of the tires are at the renter’s expense unless the Premium Insurance Premium has been paid. Damages and necessary repairs in case of neglect or failure to notify the company are the renter’s responsibility. In the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle, the company must be notified immediately.

In case of any difference between the contracted parties, these may only be resolved in the Greek courts..
Our rates are final and include VAT and taxes.
The car should be returned with the same amount of fuel it was delivered with. In the event that it is less, the renter will be charged for the difference. No refund is given if the fuel level is higher. Our prices include unlimited mileage, so there is no charge for extra kilometers.
Payment upon arrival: Pay by cash, by credit cards (Mastercard, Visa) and debit cards.
There is no Cancellation Fee if the cancellation is made 48 hours prior to arrival.
Driving the car outside Corfu Island is NOT allowed.
Smoking is not allowed in the car. Pets are allowed only if in pet boxes.
